Over the course of the hack, we went through several different ideas, and all of those ideas went through several iterations and evolutions of their own. Being very new to not only Xcode and iOS development, but also Swift as a language. We were cautious to avoid ideas and iterations that seemed too farfetched or vulnerable to feature creep. Eventually we settled on smart roads.

"Bringing Government Data to Life"
-Dash- displays a high quality and curated dashboard that tells the story of Government and Australian data across key topic areas such as Energy, Finance, Health and Social. Furthermore -Dash- makes government data inclusive by allowing non-coders to search across government portals to interact with and visualise government data.
It is simple to use and can be embedded in the data.gov.au home page.
So why do we need -Dash-?
Our project looks to utilise data from the Department of Employment in order to help both new comers entering the jobs market and experienced veterans looking for new opportunities. Since a career is a vital component of everyone’s life, this mobile friendly webpage will be useful to many people within Australia.
